Fast forward to July 2001 and I had met and fallen in love with Geoff, who lived in Maidstone, Kent. To cut a long story short, Christmas 2001,  he moved up to Scotland to be with us permanently. Best move of his life I say!.

Anyway,not only did I have the love of my life with me,  I now had a partner in crime to tackle the garden. This is the story of how we (He when it came to the heavy lifting and hard graft really) have shaped and nurtured the garden into what it is today, starting with this humble beginning…..

I have been bitten by the gardening bug. I am going to document the trials and triubulations of a novice gardener within the pages of this blog. A personal record of where it all started, where it’s at and where it’s all going to go. A record for the future, an heirloom for my family, a simple diary of achievement and failure to look back on.
